I saw the first video yesterday when Don Tapscott did a Discovery Webinar... It is even better when you see some of the evidence that he found to prove his own words wrong.

The second video I saw a while back, and actually posted on my blog to start this school year, (linked to my name above). In that post I said,
What excites me about web2.0 tools is not the tools themselves, but the ability of these tools to actively engage students in their learning. Students are often far more capable of leading their own learning than we give them credit for.
Let's make sure we help them soar rather than clipping their wings.

Thanks for putting these two videos together in one place, they work well together!

Video does add a great deal to a blog post! Both very powerful, reversal of thinking is a neat way to get attention. I really liked this post Betty, thanks!

James, if you liked the Lost Generation video, it is interesting to also watch the video Truth that it was based on. The original video made as an Argentina political ad, won the Silver Lion at the Cannes Lions Contest in 2006.

I can't believe that I haven't seen that video before about the lost generation. With over 3 million views am I the only one who hasn't seen it? Very powerful!
